Week 4

On this week is how I learned how to create my own web blog by going to www.blogger.com. For somebody that has no idea on what a blog is I manage to figure out how to make one. What I manage to learn from this is that creating aspect of the blog on how to make the site look eye catching. I would use this site on the high school kids especially those getting ready to graduate from high school. I will make the assignment in a way so that they can use it as a resume to try and get into a college or university that they are applying for. This website I will give a rating of 10 because it can be use for many thing like an e-portfolio.

I forgot to mention that in week two we were to go to www.bubble.com website. This was kind of hard for me at first because the assignment was to come up with an organizational chart on a school that we owned and were does educational technology fit in. I made my organizational chart and made educational technology the center of it. I learned a lot by doing this since I never really made a organizational chart. The way I see this site on how I would use it for assignments is to show order of precedence and what comes first after the other. I would give this a rating of 10 and would encourage others the use this website.

Week 2

1. The task that was given for this week was to look at the website www.wordle.com. The thing we all had to do first was to take a piece of paper with tape. The object of the materials pasts out is to write a word that describes the person. The word has to be an adjective and the paper was taped on the back of all that participated. As we all were doing this I had no idea as to why and what is was for and all I know is that the game was real interesting to me because a lot of my peers did not know who I was as a person. When everybody was done Mr. Jenkins showed us an example as to what we were to do with the words that described us on wordle.com. The way the words came together to make an amazing image and it gave me an idea that this can be us for making t-shirt designs. I was really impress as to what the website can do and how many times you can change the design. I can see myself using this for learning vocabulary terms to make things fun in a artistic way and that the class would not be a bore. I would give this a rate of 10 because it was really fun to work with and see how the words would come out.
